2024-2025 Fiscal Year

  • Independence Day – July 4-5, 2024
  • Labor Day – September 2, 2024
  • Thanksgiving Break – November 27-29, 2024
  • Winter Break – December 23-31, 2024
  • New Year’s Day – January 1, 2025
  • Martin Luther King, Jr. Day – January 20, 2025
  • Memorial Day – May 26, 2025
  • Juneteenth – June 19, 2025

Although this schedule lists the paid holidays and President’s Days and the dates on which the College will observe them, your supervisor has the final authority as to whether or not your services will be required.

Substitute Days

As has been customary, the College substitutes holidays which occur during the academic year (Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Washington’s Birthday, and Lincoln’s Birthday) for the days we have off during the winter break. The College observes these holidays during winter break exclusively, unless your supervisor feels your services are needed during that time. If that is the case, your supervisor will inform you as to when you may substitute another day off for having worked the holiday.

  • Randolph College is a private liberal arts college in Lynchburg, Virginia attracting students from Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, and beyond. We provide a rigorous academic program that features small classes with top-ranked professors and hands-on, experiential learning.
